MAINTENANCE PRODUCTION MANAGER
The Maintenance Production Manager will act as an intermediary between maintenance field operations, clients and company management.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bilingual Spanish-English speaker is a MUST.
· Possess minimum of 5 years previous landscape maintenance management experience.
· Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written with clients, employees & management
· Ability to manage multiple landscape maintenance projects and coordinate company resources.
· Ability to respond to new client contacts within 1 business day and follow-up promptly subsequent initial sales call.
· Ability to deliver estimates to prospective clients within 7 business days.
· Ability to deliver estimates for enhancement work at existing projects within 5 business days.
· Identify and correct any unsafe conditions and practices and communicate actions to owners.
· Ability to communicate the company goals concerning landscape maintenance program.
· Possess valid Calif. Drivers License and MUST be insurable by company insurance carriers.
· Be certified in CPR and First Aid.
JOB SKILLS
· Promote and sell new landscape maintenance projects and up-sell existing accounts.
· Appropriately estimate new landscape maintenance projects and enhancement work on existing accounts.
· Maintain all maintenance contracts and customer files.
· Read and follow landscape plans, material lists, guidelines, and apply necessary timelines.
· Conduct regular tailgate safety meetings with all maintenance employees.
· Order and schedule material deliveries for landscape maintenance projects.
· Schedule work force allocations for all maintenance projects with input from foremen and management as necessary.
· Supervise production at multiple landscape maintenance projects.
· Manage and dispatch all subcontractors as needed on various maintenance projects.
· Effectively communicate needs on landscape maintenance projects to management and field staff
· Prioritize and route all landscape maintenance work with help of maintenance foreman.
· Recruit, interview, hire, evaluate, discipline and terminate landscape maintenance field staff.
· Mediate personnel, equipment, and customer problems with input from foreman and management.
· Conduct and implement necessary training of maintenance staff on procedures and proper usage of all maintenance equipment.
· Responsible for enforcing safety of the customer, job site, and company employees on site.
· Supervise safety program and ensures that injury reports are turned in to office staff daily.
· Manage irrigation controller scheduling for all maintenance projects with assistance from foremen.
· Correctly code all delivery tickets and purchase orders with project name and submit weekly.
· Maintain equipment and vehicle preventive maintenance program.
· Manage inventory of materials used for landscape maintenance projects.
· Conduct walkthroughs with clients and maintenance foreman as necessary.
· Schedule and conduct start-up meeting with client, foreman, and maintenance manager.
· Present operating instructions and as-built plans (if needed) to clients during final walkthrough.
· Ensures that office building and grounds are routinely maintained.
